We are giving you a story on a topic from which we adults run away even more than kids. In this story, I touched the topic of aging, transience, and wisdom that only life can give us. I deeply hope that you and your kids will enjoy it. Take some time and talk about the beauty of time that is fleeting and how we can make the most of every moment.

I am as great as I make my friends great

A story of one teacher inspired me to make this picture book in which I touched the topic of bullying a bit and in which I tried to gently encourage a conversation about the motive of bullying and how we can openly talk about those kinds of motives. This storybook is an invitation to talk to each other about that part of our human nature, how to recognize it in ourselves, and how to get away from it. It’s meant for everyone, big and small, those who are bullies and those who are victims of bullying, because after all, whether we like it or not, we’re all stuck together.

FAR AWAY, YET TOGETHER

„Stuck Together” is back in a new style with a new storybook „Far Away, Yet Together”. This is not another story about coronavirus, this is a story about how connection does not know about the distances, how our thoughts and love in our hearts, transcend all the space with which we are sometimes separated in this state of corona crises. This is a story about today's times, in today's world and how to get the best out of it. About how our world has become very small, how with just a one click we can bring it closer to ourselves and, more importantly, that just with a click we can come closer to one another. My brother is growing up

As we grow, we change, want to learn new things and give up on some old habits and interests. This is a story about growing up and all the changes it brings into our lives, as well as lives of people around us. We have to learn how to change and develop together and how to help each other along the way. New in class

We all found ourselves once or more times in life in a situation where we didn't know anybody around us. This is not an easy situation to find yourself in, especially if you are a kid. This is a story about the challenges we find ourselves in, being in a new place, and how to overcome them or help others to overcome them.

WHERE ALL THE FISH HAVE GONE?

It is the right time to talk about nature, how it affects us and how we affect it in return... For this reason, in the new storybook "Where all the fish have gone?", we are travelling to the seaside to talk about how there are less animals nowadays in contrast to the times when we, parents, were children, or even more so when our grandparents were children. This is the story about how, when we are dedicated to each other, all unnecessary things cease to be important and we no longer have to accumulate them to fill some empty space within ourselves. STUCK TOGETHER

A storybook for kids (and adults as well…) about how to get along with your family, and with the world in general while being stuck with each other during these strange times. Establishing meaningful conversations and trying to feel each other are one of the main things that will enable us to get us through these strange times and help us to build a better world out of this mess. Mutual understanding and responsibility are gently described in this story book through the story, illustrations and workshop questions that can help a child to clarify the situation we are in and how to get the best out of it.

Why do some people have more, and some less?

“Why do some people have more, and some less?” is a story about how in life, we frequently, get to meet people who might have more than us, or on the other hand we meet people who have less than us, and how having more or less is not the main thing that should define the quality of our relationships. Life reminds us a lot of times and in many forms, that relationships are defined by much more deeper and important things. This is a storybook about how we shouldn't feel smaller around people who have more than us, but that we also shouldn't feel bigger around the people who have less than us, rather we should enjoy what we have and what makes us special.

EVERYDAY WE CAN PLAY

Set of playing cards: “Everyday We Can Play” The game is played in big states of boredom. Everyone that is bored takes one card from the bunch, and together they do the activities. The key in this game is not to take yourself to seriously.

GET TO KNOW ME

Set of playing cards: “Get to Know Me” The game is played in a circle, every player takes one card from the bunch of cards which are turned with their pictures bottom down. The players answer the question first which is on their card and ask every other player the same question which they answer to in a circle. You can ask sub-questions according to the main question in order to help the other players to feel warm and accepted. Everyone in the circle should answer all the questions. The game can be played during the meal, on the beach, on the floor, practically anywhere.

Get to know us better

We are like any other family, each one of us has it's own lacks, fears, opinions and doubts. Therefore, sometimes we argue, get estranged from one another and run away. But, we always gather back together, in a circle, and talk and put efforts to connect more than ever before! In this way, we are reconnecting and growing together all the time. We are learning how to listen, treat and love each other. We are learning about relationships, and what makes them such an important part in our lives. We don't want to keep our experiences for ourselves, but rather, we want to share them with all of you. So come with us and discover how to connect the human in people!

Uni

I go to elementary school. They call me “little scientist” because I’m interested in my surroundings and I ask countless questions. I am especially interested in nature and how we can live in harmony with it. I love to spend time with my friends and I always look for ways we can all play together, talk, and feel loved and accepted. What do you like to explore?

Ted

I’m finishing high school. Like my dad, I like music very much, and I play guitar. I have also started working as a DJ and making my own money. I like to joke and have fun, but I also like moments of solitude to think about the world we live in and how we can make it a better place for us all. We young people like to talk and listen to each other in order to solve problems together and hopefully make this world even more beautiful. What do you like to talk about?

Mom Juno

I work as a teacher. I love to observe the world around me. That’s why I make photographs. I like to record moments that are precious to me and the beauty I see around me. When I take photos, I share my feelings with others. I like to work with children and young people. I think kids understand the world we live in better than we adults think they do. What do you think?

Dad Peter

I like to spend time with my friends. I love listening to music, so it’s no surprise that I make music too. I play guitar and sometimes drums. When I play, I think about lots of things, and some of those thoughts are about the future. I work as a manager in a company. I always want to know where someone works and what their job is. I am especially interested in what my children want to be when they grow up. I would like to know if they will leave a mark in this world. What would you like to be when you grow up?

Grandpa Alex

I am retired now, but I used to be a psychiatrist. I prefer to be alone in the company of books, rather than being in a crowd of people. I have always been this way, even as a young boy. I had friends, but I liked to stay in my room and read. Even now when I’m a grandfather, I like to talk to my grandchildren and other young people to find out what’s on their minds and share with them some of my own concerns. I think we can learn a lot from each other, and that the age difference in such conversations can be an advantage, not an obstacle. Do you have someone older you like to talk to?

Grandma Sofia

I am retired, like my husband. I used to be a teacher. Throughout my life, I have always been interested in a lot of things, which motivated me to travel a lot. I used to be a supporter of the hippy movement. I like nature, but I like people, too. Whenever I could, I fought against injustice. I’ve always been eager to help others. I still enjoy spending time with children and young people. I want to teach them how to hold a conversation and how to respect differences. I believe young people are ready to make this world a better and happier place in which they will also be happy. They tell me I’m a “cool” grandma because I’m still interested in whatever’s new.
